A Respected Cause that Means so Much to So Many
On April 12, 2019, Phi Sig participated in Relay for Life which is a fundraiser held by the American Cancer Society. This year, the relay lasted from 3pm-3am. The money that gets raised at the event gets put toward cancer research and treatments. In this day and age, everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer. It is important that we come together to raise money and awareness so that we can work to eradicate such a horrible disease.
At Pace, many different organizations and groups participate such as greek life, sports teams and more. Each group hosts their own activity that contributes to the fundraising efforts. Phi Sig made fried Oreos and it was a hit! Our Spring service chair, Olivia, spearheaded this activity!
It's such a pleasant thing for the campus to come together for such a meaningful cause. We are also happy to announce that we have surpassed our fundraising goal! This doesn't mean that the efforts have stopped though. If you would like to make a donation to the American Cancer Society, please click the link under the picture.
